I broke down and bought a “camcorder” yesterday. I am always thinking about doing it, especially since Hubby is gone so much. I thought it’d be nice for him to actually get to see video of things that go on around here while he’s gone. Right?
So I’ve been recording everything. EVERYTHING. Wuzzle eating a Banana. (Which she now says “Bannna”!) Wuzzle watching “Dora”. Me folding laundry. Wuzzle throwing the laundry I just folded. Even a small bit of bath time. (I just need to learn to hold it more steady …

We have had a long few days around here, the flu seems to have struck our little corner of the world. Wuzzle has recovered better than I have. (Although, to be fair? She got sick 2 days before I did.)
It’s times like this that life without my husband sucks. I’m on day #2 of not wanting to move from the couch. Day #5 of doing 2 loads of laundry a day, just to make sure my toddler has a clean place to sleep at night, and clean jammies.

In the last 5 days I have done a minimum of 2 loads of laundry a day.

I have thrown Wuzzle in the tub at least twice a day for the last three days.
We went through an entire bag of diapers in two days.
And my poor cuddly little one isn’t feeling any better yet.

My sweet little girl used to be a ham for the camera.

She used to love to cuddle too.

But lately? Lately she loves to wag her finger and tell me “No!” and then yell it progressively louder.
And looking at the camera? Forget it! She has the prettiest blue eyes, but you’ll never get to see them. Not from my camera anyway.

In fact? I’m lucky if I can keep up with her enough to get a shot of her running away  most days anymore!

Since it’s finally Spring Time, Best Friend decided yesterday that he wanted to take his boys to the zoo and invited Wuzzle and I along! We jumped at the chance, because we love the zoo!
Wuzzle loved the idea of feeding the giraffes. That is, until she felt it’s tongue. Then? The following face ensued!

Of course, her absolute favorite part? The carousel! She loved it so much she started to cry as it slowed down. LOL!

And of course, just spending time with the boys, was great for her.

Last night Wuzzles Day Care (where she goes twice a week for a few hours) put on a Christmas Program. When they told me about this, and that Wuzzle was involved I was pretty confused and didn’t plan on participating. Honestly? Wuzzle will be 18 months old tomorrow, and 18 month olds don’t do ANYTHING on cue *lol*
But, we went anyway. Wuzzle in her new Christmas sweater. And it was ADORABLE! While she didn’t sing, she did participate pretty well!

Today Wuzzle and I decided to take advantage of an absolutely beautiful day here in Colorado. So we went for a hike at Garden of the Gods!

This is one of my favorite places in the world, a place where I like to go to exercise. To think. To be close to whatever Supreme Being may be out there.

It’s also one of Wuzzle’s favorite places! And on a day like today, where it was warm enough not to need a coat and slow enough that she could walk beside the stroller …
