Mom’s Day Giveaway!
I hope that you’re having a fabulous Mom’s Day as you’re reading this! (Or, if you’re not a mom… I hope you are honoring someone that you love today!)
Being that it’s my first Mother’s Day since Wuzzle was born… AND, that I’m unable to really celebrate due to the fact that we are trying to sprint from North Eastern Pennsylvania to Los Angelas California between Friday at 4 pm and Monday at 8am… I decided to host my own giveaway (so that YOU can celebrate properly!!)
So, I am giving away a tote bag from my good friend Ashlee’s Etsy Shop; Mom Baby and Me!! (She also has some amazing diaper bags, that are gorgeous!!)

I gave my mom a homemade calendar from Shutterfly…it’s our annual mother’s day tradition. And what did I get? I went in to get my two year old out of his crib and he said “Happy Mother’s Day” it was priceless!

That’s an awesome tradition! We give my in-laws a shutterfly book for Christmas every year… they love those coffee table books.
Your two year old must have made your week! That would be such a neat feeling!
First I want to wish you a wonderful 1st Mothers Day…Makes you want to oinch yourself and her too…and give Ryan a boot in the butt….Enjoy your day…
On to the gift,,,Are you ready…I gave my mom an antique commode stand…A place to hide her pot..Okay pottie!!!…Hey she wanted it…really…She saw it a shop near where she lives and was telling me how neat it was..I’m like okay mom, you are almost 70 and you are loosing it…So as I was thinking what do you buy your 70 year old mom for Mothers Day…the light went off..A Pottie chair….She assures me she will not be using for it’s intended purpose…but for a large potted plant…Oh my..not sure which is worse..KWIM…The pot with a potted plant !!!!..The owner of the shop dropped it at her house today..She even added a ribbon to the seat just like in a hotel !!!
I got my Mothers Day present a few days early…My mini horse had her baby, a new little girl to add to the collection.

I gave my mom chocolate fudge. A BIG block of it.

Happy 1st Mother’s Day!! and I hope you have a ton more!!!!
This year, I took all 4 kiddos with me to a paint your own art place (to make MIL’s mother’s day gift). I should have been given a metal. We made it out of there without breaking a single item. The place as beads on one side of the store, breakable pottery on the other side, and in the middle was 4 tables with chairs for the kids to paint with. It was a great thing to see how the girls could paint and really bonded with them but it was even better to see my MIL’s face when she seen that the girl’s made her Mother’s Day present (which was the first time that has happened since she was a grandma)…
I got a card and a 5 X 7 of my baby and with hand prints on one side and foot prints on the other.
This year we didn’t do much in the way of gifts but I did get a peony to plant out in the yard and my youngest woke me up this morning by feeding me peanut M&M’s. You can’t get much better than that!

My sister and I purchased an outfit for my mother this year. My husband and I selected my mother-in-law a really cute blouse. I received a new MacBook Pro for my private practice and for blogging pleasure.

Well, I didn’t actually give my mom her present yet, because I’ve been too busy to finish it! *blush* I’m knitting her some dishcloths.
My boys got me some beautiful pink tulips and a gorgeous necklace!
I made sure both my Mom and Mother-in-Law had flowers delivered on Wednesday since I had surgery recently. My daughter and daughter-in-law both received the Original Space Bags. They really like these so these each received two large and two extra large. I took my grand children shopping and they purchased for my daughter a pedicure gift certificate and for my daughter-in-law she received a Coach coin purse. My God daughter received a 5 inch deep 19 in diameter frying pan she really needed. My other God daughter received a white shell watch. I am happy I could get them these gifts. I did not get any gifts. I did not have that happy a day but I did have a couple pf special calls from two people. Thanks to God
