You’re Gonna Be a Superstar

A few days ago I did a photoshoot with a beautiful girl. She has hopes of becoming a model and wanted some shots that she could use when approaching modeling agencies.

I am finally working on editing those photos, with vacation I’ve fallen a bit behind. And there are some really amazing photos (I have to brag!) in the set.

We had a great time, wandering around town and taking some amazing photographs! But, towards the end it became a little too obvious that she’s watched too many episodes of “America’s Top Model”!! And what had potential to be a very cute pose and photograph, in editing was not so wonderful…

All in all? I had such a great time! And the way the shoot went and the photos turned out, I really feel as though I might be able to make this photographer gig work out! (I just need to get some shoots at home in Colorado now!)

Blueviolet, she really was! It was so funny because never once did I tell her how to pose. I just said “ooo! I like that (insert doorway/backdrop/etc)…” and she would run and strike a pose. In just over an hour I got 533 shots!

Thanks Sandy! I know exactly what you mean about some photographers just being “eh’”! But it means a lot to hear that you liked them… I really hope she’s pleased! (I still have about 300 to sift through and edit.)
