Your Guide to the Gods

17 December 2009 8 Comments

Today Wuzzle and I decided to take advantage of an absolutely beautiful day here in Colorado. So we went for a hike at Garden of the Gods!

Hike

This is one of my favorite places in the world, a place where I like to go to exercise. To think. To be close to whatever Supreme Being may be out there.

Hike21

It’s also one of Wuzzle’s favorite places! And on a day like today, where it was warm enough not to need a coat and slow enough that she could walk beside the stroller and not inside of it. She just loved it! She babbled the whole way, pointing at pretty rocks and birds.

Baby Hike

Towards the end of our hike, she even found herself leading a tour! *lol* These people were so nice to walk slowly behind her and listen to her as she babbled, and pointed. It was the most adorable thing I’ve seen in awhile.

Gorgeous pictures! Don’t we have the greatest names for places out here in the West? Garden of the Gods — you’re not going to find anything like that back east!

Beautiful place! When you said “whatever supreme being” it make me think of a passage in the Bible I love in Acts 17. I believe in God and could do nothing without Him. He is everything to me. :)
I wrote a post awhile back about that passage, oddly enough:
